SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed with regard to the significant variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service here the area each day. The company stage made for intervention experiences a large inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to empower the servicing of all prospects and improve entry to sassa status Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
